好长时间没用过dynamips了,今天自己写了套拓扑文件后,觉得使用3620配合no ip
routing来模拟PC太占用资源了.于是想起以前发过的一个叫VPS的小软件,在硬盘里找了找,好象是经历N回格盘后,已经不知所踪了.在网上搜索了
一下,下载了一个新版的VPS，毕竟太久未用过了,有点生疏,特意写了份笔记,供以后查阅.另外如果有什么不完善的地方,请高手斧正.

VPCS(可不是microsoft的virtual
PC)，它可以用来模拟最多九台PC，占用的内存非常小，据说每台只占1.2M,较之3620要少的多.
而且配置也比3620简单，只要写一个IP加网关跟子网地址就可以了.一条命令就可以了,而不需要要像3620那样配置IP，网关，关闭路由等.vpcs
支持PING
跟traceroute等命令.对于只希望检验实验结果通还是不通已经足够了.如果不是做比较复杂的实验,简单的用来验证连通性及一些简单结果,用它已经
足够了.

   Welcome to Virtual PC Simulator, Ver 0.13a.

The VPCS can simulate up to 9 PCs. You can ping/traceroute them, or
ping/traceroute the other hosts/routers from the VPCS when you study the Cisco
routers in the dynamips. VPCS is not the traditional PC, it is just a program
running on the Linux or Windows, and only few network commands can be used in
it. But VPCS can give you a big hand when you study the Cisco devices in the
Dynamips. VPCS can replace the routers or VMware boxes which are used as PCs
in the dynamips network.

Now, VPCS can be run in udp or ether mode. In the udp mode, VPCS sends or
receives the packets via udp. In the ether mode, via /dev/tap, not support
on the Windows.

When VPCS started, it listens the ports from 20000 to 20008 and wait the
dynamips to connet, and send the packets to the ports from 30000 to 30008 which
should be listened by dynamips.

VPCS will look for the file named 'startup.vpc' in the current directory, and
execute the commands in it if you are not set the startup file from the command
line. All the commands in the startup file are the internal command of the VPCS.
The line started with '#' or '!' will be discarded.

NOTE: To make compatible with dynamips, VPCS does NOT use the cygwin1.dll
released by cygwin.com. The two files conflicted.

   欢迎使用 VPCS, 最新版本为 0.13a.

VPCS 可以模拟最多 9 个虚拟的 PC。你可以 ping/traceroute 这些 PC，或者
在这些 PC 中 ping/traceroute 其他的主机或路由器。当然这些虚拟的 PC，并不
完全意义上的 PC，它只是一个运行在 Linux 或 Windows 上的应用程序，仅可以
使用少数几个有关网络的命令。在借助 Dynamips 学习 Cisco 设备的过程中，会
起到非常大的帮助。它可以替代在实验中充当 PC 的路由器或者使用 Vmware 虚拟
的 PC。通常，这些被替代者会占用大量的内存和 CPU 资源。

VPCS 可以运行在 UDP 或者以太模式。在 UDP 方式下，VPCS 通过 UDP 发送和接
收数据包；以太方式下，使用 /dev/tapx 发送和接收数据包。在 Windows 下只支
持 UDP 方式。

当 VPCS 启动后， 缺省监听自 20000 到 20008 的 UDP 端口，并向 30000 到
30008 发送数据包。如果没有指定启动文件，且当前目录下存在缺省的启动文件
（文件名为：startup.vpc），VPCS 就会自动加载启动文件，并执行包含的命令。
startup.vpc 可以包含的命令即为 VPCS 的内部命令。

VPCS 的命令行选项

注意：VPCS 使用的 cygwin1.dll 与 cygwin.com 发行的 cygwin1.dll 并不兼
容，但与 Dynamips 使用的 cygwin1.dll 兼容。
